Shin Ju-heon Classical Guitar Invitation Recital

[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] Classical Guitarist Shin Joo-heon Classical guitarist Shin Joo-heon, who has garnered praise from both the music industry and the general public through creative ideas and emotionally sensitive musical interpretation, studied and graduated with a major in classical guitar from the College of Music at Seoul National University. He has proven his excellence by winning top prizes at prestigious guitar competitions both domestically and internationally, including 1st place at the Haneum Concours, 1st place at the Overseas Dispatch Concours, 2nd place at the International Music Competition Vienna, 1st place at the France Music Competition Guitar, and 4th place at the Adelaide Guitar Festival. On this foundation, he has been invited to perform at major venues including orchestra collaborations and performances at the Seoul Arts Center, and continues active international activities through recitals and invited performances in Japan's Tokyo, Taiwan's Taichung, and other locations. He has collaborated with the Seongnam City Symphony Orchestra, Hanyang University College of Music, and Seoul Haegeum Ensemble, and has been invited as a performer to various festivals and stages including the Commentary Concert by Geum Nan-sae, Hyundai Motor STAGE X, DMZ World Peace Festival, UNESCO Great Heritage Meets Today, Pyeongtaek Chamber Music Festival, Baroque Music Festival, and Amorepacific New One Festa, communicating with audiences. Additionally, he served as music director for IBK Corporate Bank Win Class VVIP Concert and as artistic director for the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries-sponsored Dokdo LIVE music project, conducting activities encompassing both planning and performance. Not limited to classical music, he has actively performed in popular music and content stages including PLAY THE GUITAR, musical performances, Nexon game music concerts, and various recording sessions, establishing himself as a performer who transcends the boundaries between classical and popular music. Recently, he has collaborated with numerous traditional Korean music performers, including duo activities with haegeum player Noh Eun-ah, attempting harmony between Eastern and Western music while continuously expanding his musical spectrum. His music has received widespread love from general audiences and music enthusiasts both domestically and internationally through appearances on broadcasts such as SBS's Amazing Talent Staking, KBS Music Room, and KBS Korean Music Extravaganza, as well as through YouTube and SNS content media. He currently teaches at Seoul Arts High School, Gyeonggi Arts High School, and Yewon School, and previously served as conductor and music director of the Guitar Ensemble Class at the Armed Forces Finance Management Unit (formerly the Armed Forces Accounting Service). Through operating Shin Joo-heon Guitar Class, he is devoted to nurturing the next generation of musicians and has received the Outstanding Instructor Award from the Korean Guitar Association. Furthermore, his musical achievements and contributions to the cultural arts field have been recognized with the Best Brand Cultural Artist Award from Korea. Continuing his diverse activities, he is currently garnering attention as a next-generation guitarist, captivating audiences with his beautiful tone and technically refined performances.
